Bass tab and transcription of an all-time slap bass classic. This is a real workout. 16th note slap lines, double stops, odd bar lengths and some serious counting ability required in the breakdown. Took me a while to get this down, there’s a lot to work on here. Even for advanced players this should be a good one to keep your chops fresh.

For beginning slap bass players, this is still do-able. But you definitely want to take the tempo way down and practise the articulations with a metronome and build up.

Plenty more transcriptions coming, but also make sure to check out People Say by The Meters, Do It Any Way You Wanna by People’s Choice and Question and Answer by Dave Holland.
